For Children 5 & Up With A Focus On Form, Technique & Strokes
press play to learn more about our breathing skool swim lessons program
Our Breathing Skool at PoolSkool USA is typically for children ages 5 and older. These children already know the basics of swimming and are now ready to learn how to breathe and begin learning their first stroke, the Freestyle, also known as the front crawl.
There are 3 parts in our Breathing Skool, with 8 classes in each part. In the first part, we will teach your child how to lift their head for air and swim across the pool from a distance of 15-25 yards. We also hone in on their form and technique. Part 2 is like a stroke prep class. We teach your child proper breathing techniques, which improves endurance and preps them for strokes. In addition, we begin to introduce the foundations of the Freestyle stroke. Part 3 is all about Freestyle. We teach all the timing and proper form of the Freestyle Stroke.
We highly recommend your child completes all 3 parts so we can shape them into a strong swimmer and we can teach them how to swim a proper Freestyle across the length of the pool.
